The gathering of our Faith Family for the Sunday School hour is an important time to learn about God's love and share time in an informal setting. Sunday School gives all ages, young through adult, the opportunity to make friendships and learn from each other the impact that their faith has had on their lives.
Children learn Bible stories, the importance of worship and prayer, and are guided in the everyday happenings of kindness to others. These lessons are introduced at a very early age in our Bible Babies class. Infants being held in their parent's arms as they hear the familiar Jesus Loves Me or toddlers jumping to the song, "The B-i-b-l-e" are part of this ministry. Children are taught there are many ways to learn about the love of Jesus.
The Adult Forum is a time to focus on a particular period of time or person in the Bible. Videos often accompany the lesson, and input is encouraged from members. It is interesting to learn how these lessons and the history have continued to be relevant in today's world.
