The Rev. June Wann
Pastor June Wann resides in western Berks County in the small rural town of Womelsdorf. She resides with her husband, Kindall, their son, Adam, and their pup, Olive. Pastor June attended Kutztown University and earned a BSW degree in social work. Following college, she attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, graduating in 2006 with a Master of Divinity Degree. Pastor June was ordained on December 2, 2006, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kutztown, where she was a member. Following seminary graduation, Pastor June accepted a call at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Lumberton, North Carolina, where she served for just under 4 years. Feeling a call to return home, Pastor June accepted a call to Zion Lutheran Church in Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania, where she served for almost 14 years. It was during this call that she met her husband, and they were married in October 2023. Feeling God’s call once again, Pastor June accepted a call at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitehall in 2024. This church has always held a very special place in Pastor June’s heart, as it is also where she served as a seminary intern in 2004-2005. Faith Lutheran was a very special part of her life, forming her into the pastor she is today. She especially enjoyed working with her internship supervisor, friend, and former pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Pastor Michael Bodnyk. Pastor June looks forward to an exciting and meaningful ministry at Faith Lutheran Church for years to come. In her free time, our pastor enjoys spending time with her family, sewing and cross stitching, cooking and baking, and anything else that involves spending time with loved ones.
